Devious Journal Entry

Tue Jun 2, 2009, 7:10 PM
So I went Halloween costume hunting (In June! Perfect timing.), saw the occasional uber-rad costume interspersed among lots of badly constructed TV/movie/comic-based costumes, and now I'm a-thinkin' it's about time to draw some fanart. Maybe it'll give me some ideas for my costume this year, considering I now have a sewing machine and I can make whatever I want within reason/skill level. (That is, if I don't go with this, which is surprisingly awesome, if in need of a little tweaking, for a fandomy assembly-line costume. \o/)

Plus, Jim Lee Rogue's been featured for a while, so I think it's time for a wardrobe change. ¬_¬

Bonus Funtime Question: Do you pronounce it "HAL-o-ween" or "HOL-o-ween"? (Hint: There's only one right answer.)

Thanks! I'm eager to see how it'll turn out myself, lol--so far I've got tons of backstory, not so much with the plot. Workin' on that, though. ;)
:iconeimhin:
The beautiful neoVictorian pirate story you're braining there... are you actually going to (or perhaps already have) create a full-story comic? The vignettes and splash images you made just make me wanna get my hands on the diving helmets in that shop, damnit.

Well, I have lots of backstory worked out, and I definitely want to continue with more work on it (possibly tweak it a bit as well :P), but I'm not sure if there'll be an entire comic. Maybe though! And thanks so much, that's really encouraging! XD
:iconeimhin:
More than welcome. Superwelcome?

Will you have time with school and all? Or being a thesis, is it now over?

Yeah, school's over, now it's work and soon a job-hunt as this internship is not permanent. :/ Someday though, someday, heh.

Why not just sacrifice all your social hopes and dreams and become a drawing hermit?
