So I went Halloween costume hunting (In June! Perfect timing.), saw the occasional uber-rad costume interspersed among lots of badly constructed TV/movie/comic-based costumes, and now I'm a-thinkin' it's about time to draw some fanart. Maybe it'll give me some ideas for my costume this year, considering I now have a sewing machine and I can make whatever I want within reason/skill level. (That is, if I don't go with this, which is surprisingly awesome, if in need of a little tweaking, for a fandomy assembly-line costume. \o/)

Plus, Jim Lee Rogue's been featured for a while, so I think it's time for a wardrobe change. ¬_¬

Bonus Funtime Question: Do you pronounce it "HAL-o-ween" or "HOL-o-ween"? (Hint: There's only one right answer.)

Well, obviously not, but that would explain my long absence.

Anyway, quick-and-dirty version of what's been going on since that last journal entry:

Internship has been going well. I learned a lot and got to enter/exit the parks via the super-speshul Cast Member Only entrances, which is kinda exciting. XD Unfortunately, the economy sucks, so Disney cut an entire division of interns, and since I was in that division, I won't be able to extend for the second session. :< Therefore, I'm now on the job hunt. On the one hand, hello, disappointed, but on the other hand, it'll be exciting moving to a new city and having something more permanent. Trying to think positive, see.

That said, seeing as I have no idea when I will have a job after the new year, I am thiiinking about doing some commissions, so if anyone has any advice/wisdom to share on the matter I would be very very grateful, as I've never done them before and would love to avoid going about it the hard/wrong way.

Er, anyway...I thought I'd post something for no other reason other than to have a journal entry up like everyone else. My page looks so strange without that box of my blabbing taking up with top right corner. But that problem? Gone!

So, for actual content? Hmm...well, an introduction: I'm currently a senior at Ringling Clown College of Art and Design, and also currently working on my senior thesis (Character designs + illustrations for a vaguely steampunky story with PIRATES, yesss!), I'm delightfully geeky, I have a totally rad southern accent, and all modesty aside I literally make the best brownies anyone could ever hope to eat. They're like, slap your mama brownies. From mix, no less. Fear mah brownie skillz, y'all.
